It doesn’t really fit the idw iteration of wheeljack, but I keep thinking about how his g1 bio said he was the autobots best stunt driver and imagining him showing off for starscream who suddenly has a vested interest in motorsports ;)

Who decided that this should not be canon?  They had such a promising start.  They could have been one of the great romances.  I mean, not that I’m not thrilled about StarBee, but these two built a real trust.  And then it just kinda... went away.

IDW2005 Optimus is my favourite Optimus of all continuities, so I was doomed to draw proper picture with him sooner or later.

The picture is somehow inspired by Aviators’ song “Ghosts of our Fathers”, which I strongly associate with the character.
