The blue cover is for some protection of the bottle and easier cleaning (+reflective patches) The red straps is the Grab Harness, to use for victim extraction. And on the back plate we have a Merlin data pack. 🏃‍♂️ #FebruaryRun 🚒 Today was Beautiful in Northeast Indiana. 42° Sunny and calm. So I decided to run along the best stretch of the @fortwaynetrails the Maumee River Greenway, as the river was finally low and the path was open so I was in my happy place for a great run. After my training is threw with the New Haven Adams Twp Fire department I will be assigned at north station and I figured I would get a guess at the running distance from door to door. Map my run has it as exactly 5K(3.1 miles) so needless to say I won't be responding to calls on foot 😜 with my fasts 5K ever being 23:54. Afterward I went back to central station for some dressing drills with some of the other guys and am comfortably under the 2 minutes I need to be at for the Module A test in Indiana. Not bad for a 47 year old former 450 lbs guy.
