tbf idol x reader and idol x idol have completely different audiences, you're not gonna get the same numbers as someone who wrote a fic where winter fucks ningning under the inki stairs. they're simply not interested in self-inserting, so of course idol x reader would have a much smaller readership

there's been many times where I sent something innocuous to different writers like "what did you think of x's comeback" only for it to get ignored :/
