Personal Q & A
Chen Bowen Q&A
Q: Bowen has mentioned before that you are not good at expressing yourself. What impact has your co-star had on you in this regard?
A: Jiang Dian taught me that boldly expressing yourself and being good at expressing yourself is equally important. If you don't dare to express anything, no one will understand you. While boldly expressing yourself carries risks of others misinterpreting, you've at least bravely taken that first step, then you can follow in your own footsteps and let everyone slowly understand you.
Q: Bowen's good physique isn't achieved in just one or two days, is there a secret to perseverance? What do you do when you feel lazy to exercise? Please give some advice on developing a regular exercise regime.
A: The secret is that besides exercise, your diet is also important! To build a regular regime, my advice is to find a goal first, let yourself slowly progress towards that goal, don't rush into it.
Q: Have you thought about dyeing your hair? What colour do you want to dye it?
A: If I were to dye my hair, I'd rather get highlights, like a coffee-blonde colour, to make the whole hairstyle seem more linear.
Q: When did you start liking basketball?
A: I like competition with rules, your teammates all have designated roles, and if there are any problems you can directly say it.
Q: Are you a coffee or milk tea person?
A: Coffee person, I mostly drink iced Americano. I don't drink sugary drinks often.
Q: Your bio on IG introduces yourself as "Public figure" instead of "Actor", does this mean Chen Bowen isn't planning to restrict yourself to the acting industry, and will explore other areas?
A: You're right that I don't want to restrict myself, because the future contains endless possibilities. Add on the fact that I actually have an entertainment show soul [T/n: he has a personality suited for variety shows], so if I have the opportunity to learn from a program, I will also be very happy!
