bunniteeth replied to your photoset “So glad to know that my islanders have such great taste in fashion. ...”
Use harvs island ;3c
I know I can use Harvs island, but I kinda want them all on my island wearing them instead of in his cabin <3

Kisa imma be real with you but I got no damn idea what this is referring too
Imma give this ship a ‘meh out of what’ because I dunno what we’re talking about
Fashion Icons.
Decided to show screenshots of the original post and the follow up to the creation of these cursed iconic outfits. I don’t even know what to say, outside of the fact that yes, the goggles stay ON in the FOWL meeting.
Art on the left belongs to @bunniteeth Art on the right is mine.
bunniteeth replied to your post “Every time Steelbeak gets out of jail, he turns up to F.O.W.L wearing...”
U might not want to elaborate but if u dont draw it I fucking WILL
Kisa. Big Brain Moment. What if...we BOTH draw this iconic look.
bunniteeth replied to your photo “i’m not sure i really understand how to shade minecraft skins :S also...”
I use NovaSkin online to make my mc skins! It gives you the layers options and gives you the 3d model to work with so you know what the model will look like when its done. You can also directly upload it to your account when your done!

I recommend using one of those online skin makers, you can paint your skin directly onto the model and see what the shading looks like - there’s even a toggle for the extra layer!
I’ll have a look at those, but I’ve typically found them very difficult to use. i’m also really particular about my use of colour and a lot of them don’t even have hex code inputs :s
but the main problem i’m having is actually more of a “how do i shade this flat 3d object in such a way that it looks three dimensional?” I’m trying a top-down light source, but everything is just a rectangle with no definition, and it’s hard to place the shading appropriately because of the way the skin attaches to the model (i.e. the “inside” of the left arm is the “outside” of the right arm, so you can’t just shade the “inside” and get away with it).
it’s a lot easier with the blocks and objects (although i do have to touch up a few here and there) but for some reason it’s very hard for me to wrap my head around skinning the entities.
@shaebertooth, @bunniteeth, and I got the Sora, Riku, and Kairi jackets from Hot Topic and we’re now the Destiny Trio no one wanted or asked for.
