Number 6 for chimira? ;o;
Noc had kept Kira well away from the howling screams and unholy gibbering that had taken place in the dining room of the Fistburg-Ebonmoon household. It had lasted the whole night, and Noc had stayed with her the whole time, keeping careful watch as the others held down her lover in the other room, trying to remove the vile entity that had possessed him. Even after he attacked them all, they put in their best efforts, until a flash of bright white light and the sound of a ear-shattering thunderclap that shook it’s house to the core seemed to silence the horrifying sounds of the exorcism.
It was only after Dracul, Dark, and Marc had helped a shaking and exhausted looking Iblis out and onto the couch that she finally was allowed to go into the other room, Iblis giving her shoulder a gentle pat as they carried him past. Noc gave her a look of concern, but nodded, and she made her way to the dining room with a heart beating like a kettledrum.
She gasped and covered her mouth when she saw him, a strangled sob escaping her lips. Chim was laying on the massive table, surrounded by bandages, jars of strange smelling unguents, cast off ropes, torn open packages of meat, stones of various sizes and shapes, and bits of bloody shredded clothing. A glass bottle hung on a pole above the table, glowing fluid swirled slowly within. Connected to the bottle was a long series of tubing, leading to the inside of his right arm.
He looked worse than she had ever seen, his skin a pallid shade of his normal grey tone, his veins blackened and raised, his eyes closed and sunken into his face. He looked so thin, like he had been drained of all strength and vitality, his ribs showing under the thick bandage that had been strapped onto his chest.
She moved around the table to where his head lay on a bundle of cloth, serving as a makeshift pillow. His arms lay at his sides, his hands lax for once. She gently cradled his head in her arms, smoothing away some strands of hair that had become stuck to his forehead, and planted a soft kiss on his cold brow.
“Chimney? You can’t die, please don’t die...”
His eyes shifted slightly under his lids, and they fluttered as he murmured quietly, his voice rough and cracking, "D-doll....F"
“Shhhhh, don’t speak, just stay with me, please...”
He groaned, the stomach mouth echoing with a small weak-sounding mewl before shutting once again. She placed her forehead on his, whispering, “Don’t leave...”
