The Radamas are strange creatures from a distant planet. They spend 24 hours underground, their ear like leafs poking out to absorb the sun light. when night falls they dig themselves up and eat various grasses and other vegetarian. During the winters on their planet they spend up to 72 hours underground, the nutrients they’ve collected becoming a mineral similar to our amethyst crystals. since the younger members of the species lack these gems, it can be noted they have very fluffy tails and tufts of fur along their joints where the amethyst grow.  Note: remember to comfort Doctor Sworts. He did not take hearing that the radamas can not survive in out atmosphere very well.
