BunnyCDN Is Finally In Beta

After more than 3 years of work, many rewrites and tens of thousands of lines of code I am happy to say that BunnyCDN CDN is finally in beta. The idea was to build a high performance but incredibly low-cost Content Delivery Network that would help high traffic websites deliver content efficiently and affordably.

The end result is a CDN with 6 locations around the world for a price as low as $0.016/GB. A price way below the other CDN providers, yet still an amazing speed up for global websites.

It has been a long and painful journey to get the project to where it is now, but I believe we did a great job finishing it up. I can honestly say that we found a set of great server providers that enabled us to build an incredibly well-performing network for cheap.

This was just one of the tests that I have done on the network to ensure we were hitting at least around 500MBit from each of the nodes, especially at peak times. 

Another important thing for me was to make the control panel as simple as possible, so even people without much technical skill could sign up and use BunnyCDN in just a couple of minutes.

I will update this post some more soon as I’m running out of time, just wanted to share the happy news.
