Mina question! (I have returned)

How did Mina meet up the krew?

Was she part of the breaking and entering where Kremy and Gideon met with Frost and Gricko? Or did she go to the Carnival Lecroux so she could get a job?

(Yay!!! More questions about her!)

With me doing a whole update on her, I’m going to say that Mina likely came to Carnival Lecroux by mistake. Not looking for a job, but getting a tip that one of her children could be at a carnival. She just didn’t know the exact name and took a wild guess. The young woman has never been to a carnival anyways, so she took it as a unique opportunity to genuinely explore.

And all along the way got distracted by all the things surrounding her. Unconsciously letting her body move forward for a long while.

Stopping only momentarily as she saw two figures squabble down a dark path. The first one was insignificant to her. Slurring their speech with absurd profanity, whereas the other looked painfully familiar to her. Different in many ways, sure, but she was blinded by the memories resurfacing right before her eyes.

And against her gut instincts of moving along, she stealthily brought herself closer to the two individuals. As she did, the insignificant one became more aggressive.

Violent.

Now Mina could've just sat there and watched to get a better handle at what's happening, but somewhere along the way, she clearly saw the individual seek physical action. With all her senses telling her to act now. And she did.

One moment, Mina was lost in the bright lights of the carnival and now? She stands beside a rapidly bleeding individual in pure darkness. What had came over her was surprisingly violent. Even to her.

But she felt it one that was necessary as she looked to her shoulder to see the familiar figure.

Just as Mina was going to ask a question on the condition of the other, her jaw immediately clamped shut.

Guess this was the owner of the carnival. Not her...

To make a long story short, she certainly stuck around at Carnival Lecroux! :D

I don't know if this was mentioned before, since I know about the relationship of Kremy, Gideon, n maybe Torbek with Mina. What about the others three or four we're including Hootsie?

Like? How they see her? Don’t think I’ve properly done that. Should at most share what I think they’d say on her. Least for this question.

Starting off with a strong one, Frost likes how interested she is in actually learning something. Gives him his pure undivided attention whenever he gets a chance to speak. At least if she’s listening, the actual lesson will be absorbed. Like a sponge! He seems to enjoy her presence in all honesty. Very calm, focused. But something in her is trying to find distractions.

He knows better to not ask about them... again.

Gricko is more fascinated by her immediate maternal instincts to Hootsie. She’s told him she’s never had children of her own, but with how she moves? It’s doubtful, but who is he to prod and poke. Mina’s a lovely lady who’s good at caring for others. Though she’s entirely terrifying when handling blades. Nearly killed him once.

All a misunderstanding of course, so no harm done. Wasn't much of a talker that Mina, but her actions to him and Hootsie were very understood. They had to work on communication for a while, but once they did? They both got to chatting. He even got her to laugh. Something neither Kremy or Gideon saw.

Twig, I think, loves that Mina does not feel defensive around her. Very much welcomes the brownie with open arms and both cook together.

Along with that, Mina has told Twig things like her secret of singing lullabies to her children. What some of them looked like. Why she is the way she is.

She doesn't see herself as a good person. I mean, Mina feels like she's killed more people than she's actually saved.

And even if that's true, Twig can see Mina is far from being bad. She IS a good person. Sure she's done plenty of shady things. But that's not entirely who she is deep within.

There's more to this woman. Twig does ask questions about if she's okay. If she wants something. Just anything to get Mina out of her own head.

Rewatching ouaw ep 5. The performances that the krew were doing got me wondering

Does Mina perform beside from being a bodyguard of Kremy?

Even before the witchlight carnival, does she perform? If so, what kind of performance?

No, but now that you say that? I can’t say Mina would do much as she prefers to be in the shadows. Isolating herself (willingly) from mostly anybody. Though there is one thing she does. Singing. A very simple thing, but she always found some enjoyment from music and can’t help but get lost in the sweet melodies. And when the music calls to her?

Mina not only starts to sing, Mina swiftly rises up from where she was siting and begins to sway her body around. The best way she can describe her motions is to say that she’s dancing with the air itself.

Only people who’ve ever caught her dancing is Kremy and by extension? Torbek. But Torbek never once approached her. No, he just safely watched the pretty ocean lady sing and dance her soul away from afar. Looking so serene

How is she holding up after shenanigans and feycurses?

How did she react about her first feycurse?

I say Mina reacts pretty well!

Definitely hasn’t done anything questionable that she, and her friends try to NOT speak of…
