Thank you for recommending those three to me! It was especially great to see the progress on the trait project, because I left when that was just getting started.

I also want to thank everyone who’s been leaving kind comments under my post. I will probably not explicitly answer those, but they are very very much appreciated.

Goth Family Summer 1 Part 1

Recap:

Bella returned to her family

Cassandra and Don got married and moved to Don’s Condo.

Mortimer and Bella decided to renew their vows now that she was back.

They hired a butler.

Mortimer joined the Garden Club

Dina didn’t take it so well that her old nemesis Bella has returned.

She kept coming over to kick the bin but the butler always greeted her so Mortimer had the chance to apologize to her and they are on okay terms again.

Bella helped Alexander with his homework and started a fire.The next day her and Mortimer celebrate their second wedding and she congratulates her daughter on her pregnancy (in fact she’s absolutely horrified at the thought of being a grandmother).

Only seconds after their wedding Alexander grows into a Romance teen.

Mortimer and Bella go on a second honey moon to Takemizu Valley. Mortimer wanted to go there since forever.

They experienced a lot there but it almost always ended with them being chased by bees.

Back home Alexander’s room got a little big boy makeover and he got the computer he wanted for his birthday.

He breaks the computer on the very first day and Bella almost dies trying to fix it herself.

Alexander is surprisingly popular with one of the exchange students and he experienced his first kiss.

Only thinking about this made him struggle with school.

First of all, I’ve added some new townies! Here are only two out of seven, but I’ll introduce you to all once they show up! The first one is Acai by @bunsim (Romance, Taurus (4/5/3/8/4)) a total cutie! The second one is Mark Davis by @mikexx2 (Knowledge, Taurus 5/5/3/8/4). He’s only calles Davis as I haven’t added Rita to the townie pool.

Found her!! I have finaly tracked down where i downloaded Kendra Keeler’s (green) mother from!

She is Lychee Sea by Bunsim!!!! 

I like to give credit to creators if im posting bits of their creations since i plan to upload Kendra’s children when they become adults. I dont know if @bunsim is still active but Lychee is one of my faves!!

do you mean modthesims.info/d/28475… ? it keeps the creature skins/eyes unlocked in cas and bodyshop so u can use the skins.

Does it unlock eyes too? I hadn’t noticed that. I’ll have a closer look next time I’m in-game. But I love that mod--can’t do without it! Thanks for the idea. :D

Thanks! Not exactly what I was looking for, but it can certainly do in a pinch, and it gives the right look, so that’s really what I’m going for. I’ll keep it bookmarked in case I can’t find the unlocked eyes. :)

omg yes the file limit is like 10k files and thats not much at all! my maxis rec is 5k lol i did the thing where i took all the palettes and picked out the colors so i only had 1 each so each time i get something i can immediately delete unused ones  IT TAKES FOREVER BUT ITS WORTH IT JUST DELETING 1 COLOR FROM LIKE 50 HAIRS IS ALREADY 50!!!! but. choice. why. picking is hard!!! esp when colors are like similar but not the same and u forever wondering what couldve been.... i want infinite cc space

10k is SO LITTLE D: That makes it SO MUCH HARDER TO CHOOSE AND CONSOLIDATE and then if someone makes something new and you’re like OH SHIT I REALLY NEED THIS it’s like but what will I sacrifice for it? D: And like omg I’m def that picky person who is like OKAY SO I KNOW THESE TWO COLORS ARE SO SIMILAR BUT LOOK THIS MATCHES WITH THAT BETTER AND THIS ONE MATCHES WITH THIS OTHER BETTER and guh guh I’m always in that ~potential~ field which is apparently not a field you are allowed to play in omg :( At least you can make use of nice defaults and stuff, too, and thank god for repositories at the very least! D: (lmao ALL THE IKEA, ALL THE TIME!)

But yeah even I’m def going through and eventually i might actually try to delete things in colors I never use. It sounds time consuming as hell but. :/ (But at the same time I feel like a big issue of mine is that I fall into habits and I actually wanna branch out from using/doing the same thing? \o/) CC makes things so difficult lmao but such a necessity D:

it's definitely possible to merge hair recolors! ...I have no idea how though lmao. I just know I have a few merged hair recolors packages in my game!

WHAT SORCERY!!!!!! omg I thought it was utterly impossible I--- DEAR HAIR MERGERS OUT THERE PLS TEACH THE WAYS? If I could consolidate my hair files then I’d be able to feel so much better about just how many I have lmao ;A;
