i was just scrolling tumblr then saw something supporting Amber Heard and now im literally fighting the urge to start a petty internet fight.
Feminism isn't supporting and picking women over any one else any time, no matter what that woman has done. It isn't oppressing someone whose abused and beaten just because their a man and the abuser is a woman. If we side with Amber on this then we are basically just hypocritical assholes that not only support abuse but support misandry which is just as bad as misogyny. Hell she has abused women and men a like so don't even try and make it about "supporting women"
so yes tumblr user i will not name, we will look back in 10 years but not to say that we "failed Amber Heard" no we will look back and regret not placing charges, because she will do this again. She's done it to several people.
Oh and, "while joining in another smear campaign against another woman" is hilarious. Smear campaign? Really? is that what you call someone being abused coming forward and being supported is? Then yeah I hope theres more, because I know many people who've been abused by women and men and nonbinary people alike.
Don't you dare try and make this about supporting women or gender this at all because it makes you look so bad. Misandry is just as toxic as misogyny, and its just as distasteful.
