He did warn Thor that it wasn't a smart move to bring him back to Midgard. The Avengers would be less than impressed by seeing him, the wannabe sorcerer as well given how their first and, as he thought back then, last encounter went. They barely managed to escape the Sanctuary II and found refuge on his brothers beloved planet, Loki knowing more than well who was after them and why, but he wouldn't tell. At least not yet. Now, however, that the first signs of scouts were showing, it seemed that he would have to speak about it sooner than anticipated.
In truth, the god of mischief was casually strolling through the streets of New York, blending in with the masses when he heard struggle nearby and, unable to sate his curiosity, went to see what was going on, only to find no other than Strange on the pavement, bleeding. He rolled his eyes at the sorcerers remark and bit back a comment as he crouched down to look at the wounds more closely.
"You know, they told me you were quite a nice person to talk to, very intelligent and eloquent, but sadly, I've yet to see that side of you." Loki commented dryly. "So far you've been nothing but hostile towards me without me doing anything. Part of me by now believes that you don't think people are prone to changing." While talking, he didn't take his eyes off the wounds. Blade wounds, no doubt. There was no way of determining what or whose blade it was, but the cuts were very deep.
"If you're done complaining, I'd very much like to help you. I'm not very skilled in healing magic, but I know the basics of it and could probably stop the bleeding for long enough to get you to one of those midgardian hospitals. If they can't do anything about them there, the few of the surviving asgardian healers might know what to do." He said in an almost too calm tone. "As for your cloak, no. I haven't seen it anywhere. How does one have a runaway cloak of all things?"
