1 John 5:3 (NLT) - Loving God means keeping His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.
He wanted to lift me up, but didn't he know that was impossible? I'd grown too heavy. I'd have to get my satisfaction from dragging others down.
Laura Hankin, from The Dreamers
He had seen his mother suffering and had acted to free her from a life that had become intolerably burdensome.
"Incarnations of Immortality: On a Pale Horse" - Piers Anthony
I feel… like the most unlovable creature to ever live.
It's a burdensome feeling to be insecure or scared about things you know you did right or things you know how to do it right and probably not doing it then.
Example:
You you go out and double or triple check you backpack if you got your purse, even though you know you got it before you looked for it the first time.
Or you do a trick you already did (lets say a backflip). You know how to do it, you know it always worked before, you know you would land it again if you would do it. But you are to scared and uncomfortable with it even though you really want to do it.
Have hope and faith.
