Over the years a lot had changed about Goku, though it had mostly been for the better. From a wild child thrown onto an alien planet to a man who came to love and defend; to protect that which he valued so deeply because to him there could be nothing worth more than that. Oh sure, the fights to do so were thrilling! Exhilarating-- nothing got his blood pumping quite like it-- but that’s never all it had been about. Life was so much more than just that, something to which he had come to appreciate more as time went on. His sons had only strengthened this notion.

Thus when he saw the man who was familiar it had him tilting his head to one side, canted in confusion and caution because every time he’d met another Saiyan they’d either tried to kill him or kidnap his children. It was a bit of a nightmare in all honesty, they need to lay off!

“I'm pretty much positive you were dead--” Which was never something he much liked or cared for, but.... well, sometimes things had to happen. Still, it didn’t explain what the other was doing here for all he wasn’t yet quite aware about the identity confusion going on here. “Try and mess with Gohan again and he’ll be the one rearranging you this time~ Fair warning!” After all, his little boy was a father himself now and not quite so little anymore.
