…And deciding to produce a movie that completely distorts the original myth, stripping away its core themes and divine involvement, and altering the characters so drastically that they are unrecognizable (Odysseus lacking his wit, Menelaus rudely disrespecting his wife what the fuck).

I don't care how successful the movie was; if I was Nolan, I would be embarrassed. Even with all the money spent and the famous actors featured on the poster, this adaptation pales in comparison to what a collective of obscure online artists accomplished.

Just saw the trailer for "Les Légendaires" movie and i felt my inner 11 years old self awaken again

#Literally before RWBY took over I was fucking obssessed with this comic #Tbh I haven't followed in recent years coz....honestly it went so fucking bonkers in the last volumes #and tbh it didnt aged well...i know they made a 3D animated show of it that i quickly looked at and never tried because its so fucking ugly #tbh this movie is 3D too which i feel doesnt fit them but it looks way better so i'll definitely watch it #Les Légendaires #burito talk

I'm probably not halfway through Metroid Samus Returns, but it's pretty enjoyable so far.

#like why does the ost of the magmoor caverns from metroid prime plays everytime i get to a firey place #I know the original Metroid II didn't have many melodics sounds and music and you gotta do things differently and that's fine #but taking this specific prime ost and making your own are two different things #also like...okay so the game is very cool i love some of the cinematics and the way Samus can end the metroids in a really badass way #its cool as hell #Buuuut...#aside from the Metroids fights and some of the remastered music...for the most part it doesn't feel like I'm playing a remake of Metroid II #Like I'm not saying a remake should be a 1 to 1 adaption of the original material of course #but this feels like I'm playing a different Metroid game #burito talk

Just finished Metroid Prime Hunters

.....I guess it's not so bad.

#iojezfoizjeofij #jkjk #tbh the worst part was definitely when i returned to the archives and had 8 minutes to leave the fucking place #and kept getting lost and attacked by these fucking guardians #these little shits made the game so so so frustrating #once i got past that part it was easier #though...compared to other metroid games i think this one is a bit lacking #the final boss is pretty cool though but like all the others bosses were repetitive and boring as fuck #also I am a bit intrigued by Sylux though its less coz of the game itself and more because of Prime 4 trailer and the theories i heard #Sylux was definitely the most annoying of the hunters ugh #but it is cool to know its origins at the very least #and hey at least I can say i'll have play all metroid games once im done (well aside Other M.....maybe i'll give it a try one day)#burito talk

......Okay I'm trying to read the first...chapter? Part? Act? Of Homestuck and I'm still equally confused. I might be too sleep deprived to start this.

On another note, I understand now what that tumblr post meant when they said webtoon kinda ruined the potential of webcomics when Homestuck showed it could be so much more than that. I did not expect this webcomic to have a save system, animation, music, and to feel like a video game at times.

Took me off guard but in a good way.
