lots!!!! but one that comes to mind is that snorlax’s design is based off of a guy that worked at gamefreak and snorunt’s design is based off of a yukinko (which is a childlike japanese snow spirit) and a race of small people that the ainu people (native ppl of hokkaido) believed lived beneath leaves!!!
