#Part11 It got to that point where I stopped going to class. I would take multiple trips to Toronto to go and collaborate with other up & and coming artist. From this forum, I was really learning and enjoying it. Life started becoming better. The friends that I made in school were cool people. We shared the same thoughts on things, and we all had similar ambitions to be influential people one day. I benefited from hanging around my friends in school. I would chill at their dorms every day, stay up late just relaxing and talking. I supported them and they really supported me. #Part9 “I went to school at Wilfred Laurier, and dropped out after my first year. My family was extra educated with degrees on degrees on degrees. I went in school as undeclared. When applying to school, deep in my heart I knew I didn’t want to go and had no purpose being there. Music was the only thing on my mind. But when you have your family on your back every day asking you the same questions about university, it gets really overbearing. Hearing them talk about school, you would think that if you don’t attend, your life is totally over. If you don’t have a degree, everyone would look down on you as if you are an outcast towards society. That old school mentality really bothered me. It was the worst when I left school. They totally cut me off. It was devastating breaking the news to them that I was leaving. I just wasn’t about this education thing. I was a smart kid, it’s not like I was dumb, but I left to pursue an art I wanted to master.
