My Valentine Always
A burning love forms in my heart,
longing for your touch,
to feel your love, but we are apart?
Your hair smelled of a lavender scent,
essences she used when she bathed.
I'll always treasure you in my heart, my valentine!
Your radiance emanates when you step into a room!
Your beautiful tuned voice fills my mind with you.
I used to lay awake after you've,
fallen asleep,
and gaze at your radiance.
I ask myself at times;
What did I ever do to deserve a woman like you?
Because I would do it again.
You've drawn so much more than love out of me?
You bring radiance, elegance.
You brought me to; life, my valentine!
And, I love you so much, Shannon! R.I.P.
