The entire #WestCoast is on #Fire right now, and I'd think it safe to say for the first time in my entire life, and I was born #PacNW #LeftCoast. Last week a friend lost a whole property in a fire. Another friend just drove from NorCal to PDX - almost 700 miles - and the entire drive was blanketed in fairly thick #Smoke the whole ride. LA currently has the biggest fire in recorded history going on. This video looks like something from #ApocalypseNow, or some war flick. I do my best to remain an optimist, but folks, we may have just done fucked ourselves. What to be done from here...well I haven't stopped driving my car yet. But maybe I should? Should everyone start riding motorcycles finally? What can we do as a human race to help stop our whole planet from going up in flames that we can all actually rally behind? This was a spooky sight after leaving the @globaleclipsegathering, where we had already been inundated with smoke for most of the week.
