He grunted and his hands slipped when Glyde kicked him. "Like I said, I'm out for vengeance." He snarled and grabbed Glyde's leg when he tried to levitate away, "And you're the key." He slammed him down onto the ground.

Glyde gasped, gritting his teeth as he slammed onto his back. He tried swinging his HeroSword wildly, but Glyde knew there was no way he could defeat a Darkloid on his own.

Yai found something she thought could help. Hastily, she inserted two battle chips. “Area Steal, battle chip in—download!” And behind that, a nice “Body Double” battle chip.

While a fake body-double would appear directly to the right of BurnerMan, the real Glyde would appear a ways behind BurnerMan, struggling to get to his feet. The Life Aura around him was fairly weaker now, and Glyde admonished his own helplessness without- and even with, it seemed- his battle chips.

He grabbed his arm just before the blade hit, "Now now~ I don't plan to delete you~... not yet, anyways~!"

Glyde raised his feet up and tried kicking off BurnerMan’s chest while simultaneously attempting to levitate in the air. However, BurnerMan was heavy, which would seriously impede Glyde’s flight capabilities.

Yai was horrified. She was going through everything she had, trying to find something that would help Glyde. Turning to BurnerMan, she demanded to know, “What are you going to do to him? Leave Glyde alone!”

"I'm BurnerMan. And I happen to be a Darkloid." His small smirk turned into a mad grin, "And I'm out for vengeance." He wrapped a hand around Glyde's throat.

Yai’s expression turned to one of horror. “No, Glyde!”

Glyde struggled, gripping BurnerMan’s hand and trying to pry it away from his throat. “Miss… Yai!”

Scrambling, Yai grabbed for her battle chips. “HeroSword, LifeAura, battle chips in—download!”

Glyde would be surrounded by a glowing purple aura, and his right arm would change into a long blade. If BurnerMan didn’t do something, Glyde would slice downward on the Darkloid’s arm.

"Who tha' hell are you?" ((I don't believe these two have met canonically.))

Glyde stared at this incredibly rude Navi as one might stare at an unwanted Ratton virus. “I am Glyde; NetNavi to Miss Yai.”

Yai peered at the Navis through her PET, frowning slightly. “Glyde, is someone talking about me?” She glanced over at Burnerman. “Oh, hello.”

"I believe I'll like doing business with you." He narrowed his eyes.

"aha..haha~ i also do some other things, dont be shy to ask me!~"

He grinned wider if it was possible, "That's an easy price to match."

"i try to make my prices as fair as possible, i do alot of businesses yknow," he giggled and shoved both hands into his pockets.

"Ah? Could you now?" His blue eyes widened and the mad grin returned, "Is there a price~?"

"hmm," he thought about it for a moment. "800 zenny," he rocked on his heels. "they arent hard to come across for me, infact weve murderer so many navis i bet we have some on us, huh eraserman?"

"..." BurnerMan hesitated, "Dark Chips are hard to come by ever since my old partner was deleted. I haven't been able to get a hold of one recently." He snarled low.

"i could maybe get you some," he rocked on both heals. he wasnt associated with the net officials or anything, he did his own thing- so he didnt really care, honestly.
