I had a job, once. I was sixteen years old, just about to turn seventeen. Part time at a retail fabric store. Right from the start, I thought to myself..there is no way that this is it. I refuse this way of life. Every minute spent at this job was like a terrible punishment..and people say this is how you’re supposed to live for the rest of your life? That didn’t sit well with me, I knew there had to be something else, a better way. So, I quit that job and vowed to myself that I would never work for anyone else ever again. I remember my father suggested that I should keep the job and try other things on the side..but I told him it was too late, I'd already quit. At that point, it was all or nothing and Toxic Vision was born. No turning back. Now, 11 years later I am proud to say that I’ve kept that promise to myself. And every inch of pathway that I've gained, I did it on my own, through hard work and determination. You fight twice as hard when you have nothing to fall back on.
