Maccie Guys (1/2?)
Wanted to force my hand at actually rendering, starting with them cause they’re the most consistent regarding outfit choice (I feel like Andy owns one fucking shirt, did they even pay him)
BYTE February 1984
Programming impresario Bill Atkinson and hardware maestro Burrell Smith share valuable bitmapped space on the screen of a Macintosh. Byte’s coverage in this issue was in-depth to the point of including samples of Susan Kare’s bitmapped fonts before they were renamed, on the insistence of Steve Jobs, from stops on the Paoli Local commuter rail line in Philadelphia to “world class cities.” (There was a font in the first Macintosh operating system releases called “Toronto,” but it vanished around the time System 6 was released; I can only wonder how this might threaten tying in with a certain “we should be better than we are” complex some people in the city seem to have.)
