I apologize I am new here, and I have a curiosity question- is Linus Torvald part of this? Is he allowed to play too? I understand he is not at all the point and that this is specifically about Bill and Steve but as a Linux fan I'm intrigued by the thought of him having a place in the Gaytechguys multiverse here. Some sort of common threat to bring the main characters together, perhaps?

Late because I forgot to log into this account LOL, but you can play around with any characters you want since this isn’t a fixed universe or anything nor is there a point, It’s just RPF. I know some people are more focused on 2000s Apple and add Tim Cook, or 80s Apple and add Sculley. If you think they have a fun dynamic then you should go for it. I’m not really anyone’s boss or anything, I think you guys just have to ‘lax and do whatever you want and have fun.

I usually play off the characteristics the tech people have with each other in real life or competitively. When I mention 90s Microsoft relationships, I bring up Philipp Kahn and Bill more than ie , Linus Torvalds since there was more tension/back’nforth going on there.

Sometimes I make Jean-Louis Gassée the bus driver even when people don’t care about him, just because he’s a bitch and I like him and that’s all that matters. Be the change you want to see. Peace & Love new-anon

Hello Anon! I, Myself found out about Pirates of Silicon Valley a bit later, but it’s still a pretty precious shitty made for tv movie in my heart, and I still rewatch it every half moon cause I have all blue-ray release hoarded on my ‘puter. But I get how it can feel limiting compared to the real dudes. If I’m interpreting this ASK right…

I never made POSV art myself (I think) since my art leans towards heavier RPF, I see why people do, it’s pretty much “safe” RPF and the characters are more malleable and fun to play around with.

I’m not very nit-picky so I don’t mind it, Noah Wyle is hot, and I know I do a lot of inaccuracies for my part too (incase anyone think I know everything about Billy, I just storage a handful of stuff I read from 90s BG Bios and mention it once in a while).

But yes I do miss the old passionate Microapple/realPerson analysis time and time again…I haven’t done a lot of fresh new art for a while because I get unmotivated and repetitive cause I want to draw something more than just them staring at eachother.

Don’t fret though anon. You’ll never run out of materials for these dudes, there’s many topics people haven’t touched on....like how no one had mentioned that Steve Jobs once got invited to be a Cuck during college.
