Q1: John Green says that most people do not want to advertise YouTube people and this makes the first few years of their work be really hard. He thinks that advertisers should actually support you tubers because they are hard working people that are spending their time trying to help others in many different ways and they are building a better community full of passion.

Q2: (advertiser) Because it is how young people are retaliating know, it is a new way of living and it is not a waiste of time for them, this is what the future adult community will be into, it is the next step.

Q3: (advertiser) The fact that YouTube is a risky market because it could be unstable but it should certainly not be taken as something that is not important or serious.

ADVERTISING MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND

Today we’ll have a special guest -- Drew DiSabatino, a copywriter at Hill Holliday, one of the premier advertising firms in Boston. Drew’s going to present some information about what he does and what advertising as a profession is facing in the future.

I’ll be adding some historical context for advertising before we get to some current issues in the field that I want to discuss. Among them, we’ll investigate how diminishing returns on ad placements are affecting the industry. In particular, we’ll look at three strategies being undertaken and discuss them.
