Moving Forward
In this course I have learned about so many new aspects of communication that I have never thought of before. I also learned about how different industries such as film and advertisement use communication to effectively do their jobs. Each of the main industries we learned about in this seminar, film, TV, advertisement, journalism, and PR, are intertwined with each other. I have also learned that they are a reflection of our culture and what society currently thinks. This course will help me effectively communicate with others in the future. I will also be more aware of the different communication methods that I see either on TV, advertisements, or films. Not only have I gained greater knowledge about the world of communication but this course has opened me up to the possibility of aiming for a different career path. One that is still in the realm of law, but that has to do with representing a business. I was very fascinated by the different PR work we learned about and I would like the opportunity to represent a company and protect its good name.
