The Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) was a scheme of the Government of India to encourage renewal of urban infrastructure. The government, under this scheme, provided a one time funding to various states to procure urban buses to boost transportation in urban regions. Such a scheme helped upgrade urban transport infrastructure in the country. Seen in the image is a JnNURM funded low-floor urban bus in Kerala.
