Decided to do another "let's scroll through my old drawings and pick a drawing to redraw" case, and I ended up on a pre-Mixels 2014 humanization drawing that was itching to be redrawn, a humanization of three of the female Moshi Monsters characters! The artwork was in need of a strong refresh, and I had fun with it!

Annual 2014; Buck's Postcards

A while back, mariojoe11 added a section to Cap'n Buck's page, dedicated to the postcards that were send to him, shown in the Official Annual 2014.  I would like to shine some light to them.

First of all these are all female characters caring for Buck in their own way, non of them being romantic. Such a basic thing is hard to find. Tamara is shown to care for his safety, throwing in loads of "science" nonsense and it's super cute. Bushy, being an adventurer herself, is in tune with Buck and openly fangirls about the subject. They are both shopkeepers too, but do not form a rivalry. They both open their shops for stuff they found on their adventures and this letter implies Buck sometimes drops stuff off at her too. Would be fun is she would be in charge of most of Buck's leftover stuff and she makes a bigger fuzz over Baz trying to steal stuff than Buck because that is just a bearded barnacle's way of life.

But Tyra Fang's postcard....it broke my heart! Buck, how dare you and your stupid frozen :D face make Tyra all upset because she couldn't give you a glamorous bye bye? You better make it up to her or I am done with you in a your-not-my-favourite-character way! Tyra Fangs is a precious babe that needs all the nice things right now.

I can't even imagine how he would react reading half of these; he's very nice and considerate but also a bit...daft. Every single character in Moshi Monsters is a treasure. Ye ok, aside Dewy and Moe. Roary can be a butt too.

Bushy Fandango was helping Mizz Snoots with her new line of Avant-garish goods. Blinki happened to be out snapping oddities to celebrate their Fact File release on the Daily Growl, and what's more peculiar than the two most deviant shopowners together? Characters belong to Mind Candy

So today I found out that the Moshi Monsters character Bushy Fandango is a girl.

I...did not know this until today. Well...at least it means there's another female shopkeeper on Moshi Monsters.
