Students have been waiting for the most exciting event of the school year, and finally after 2 years the day has come again! The Business Week, which is handled by the MSBMW department, was held last February 15 – February 19, 2016. The activities that they prepared were really fun and the students were really happy to participate during the whole week.
Enactus Orientation - This is the first event that was held during the business week. Enactus is an international non-profit organization which consists of students, academic leaders, and business leaders who are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives.
EntrePinoy Trade and Fair exhibit - Booths are set up in the atrium by entrepreneurship and tourism students. They sell different kinds of products like food, bracelets, etc.
Food carnival: Featuring the Different Cuisines of Europe - this is where International Business students prepared an exhibit-like presentation in the atrium. They prepared a background which looked like the country that they are representing and they dressed up like locals
Velocity - This is the most awaited event during the whole week. Students team up with the professors and they are divided into four teams: the red team, the blue team, the yellow team, and the green team. The players will be competing for different kinds of sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis
Eco-lympics - This activity was arranged by the Assumption Integrated Marketing Management Society. Students are supposed to answer questions that are related to economics and are teamed up by course
Planting Ceremony - An activity where blocks who are taking up the subject Environmental Management will plant different plants to build a garden
Organiquely In-love - an exhibit where Green Marketing students made various foods and beverages that use organic ingredients.
The Business Week ended with the awarding ceremony where the winners for different categories, like the best booth and the store with the highest income, were announced. All in all, it was a very successful and well-attended event, and we’re so excited for next year!
