Discovering Bustos

Proud Bulakenya here! During my short vacation in the beautiful town of Bustos, some Bustosenyos asked me if I’m Japanese. It sounds so good that people thought that I’m a foreigner but I’ve learned that I must be honest that I’m not. I’m a Pinay and I’m a pure Bulakenya. I guess it is significant that I’m proud of this.

Looking back now, I really enjoy my short stay in Bustos. My 3 days stay there is too short to explore and discover its beauty. Honestly, I fell in love in the beauty of that place. The people there are so kind and nice to me. What is more amazing is that they are all approachable people.

Sto. Niño Church

The Sto. Niño Church in Bustos, Bulacan will always have a very special place in my heart. The reason behind this is because this is the church where my dad and mom exchanged their wedding vows. I will always give thanks to the Lord with all my heart for giving me such wonderful, responsible and loving parents. I know that our family might not be perfect but one thing is for sure, our family is united by our deep love for each other. I guess I could consider this as a miracle of life.

Bustos Dam

According to my grandfather, it was the longest rubber dam in Asia and it was the 2nd one in the whole world. Cool right! Can’t you imagine that we are so blessed that it is here in the Philippines! Yay! It was definitely something we, PINOYS and PINAYS must be proud of! 😊

Talampas, Bustos, Bulacan

It’s my first time to witness this wonderful corn plant. (Tao na! Tao na si Alissa!) Haha. I’m just kidding. Seeing this plant brought happiness to my heart. It is one of my fave food that is why I can’t help myself so please forgive me.

Paraiso ng mga Bata

I’m 18 but I’m still childish at times! I cannot deny the fact that I’m still a kid at heart. This place was really enchanting for me. Haha. It gave me the feeling and joy of being a kid even just for a quite moment in my life again. Haha. (I will definitely come back here once I need some stress reliever)

It feels so good to visit this military area in Bustos, Bulacan.

BTW. I just hope I can visit Bustos again this 2nd week of January so that I can witness their wonderful MINASA Festival. Well, I hope that I could finish my stressful dental works before that day comes so that I can make it happen. I’m so excited! 😊💗
