July Camp NaNo Week Three

So yeah, my graph looks a little different than last week.  If you haven’t been able to figure it out, let me explain, I changed my goal.  This month I have changed things scheduled each week, this week’s events included a 52-hour workweek.  I worked my regular three 12-hour shifts, then completed two 8-hour days, a review class for work.  Between the extra time and flipping my schedule between a night on my regular shifts and days for my review class, I was exhausted.  The following week I have doctor appointments and conference calls, I changed my goal from 25k to 12k.  

I found it amusing that when writing the first part of this story for NaNo last November, the story is set in the fall and Halloween is a pivoting period.  This story is set a little earlier.  As I write about the Fourth of July, I was able to celebrate it; unfortunately, my characters had both a better and worse time.
