yo i just . noticed this kinda term discrepancy/conflating
it's not a super bad thing but i noticed that yumeshippers also use the term "double" to describe other persons who have the same love interest as them and like
it feels a little confusing . wdym someone saying "doubles dni" might mean "hey if you also love/yume this character don't interact" rather than "if you also ARE this character don't interact"
they even just say "i don't mind doubles" and such but they mean people who have the same love interest which . ofc im biased and used to the kin meaning but it feels odd to me
i dunno i dont think these terms ought to look the same ... of course context clues can tell you what they mean but y'know it's better to have different terms in general especially when these lil internet communities could have the potential to overlap
