Seasons 1 and 3 of Gargoyles had 13 episodes each, but season 2 had 52 episodes (which on its own, is more than both seasons of Young Justice put together).
Also, 12 out of 13 episodes from season 1 were written by a husband-and-wife duo. That's very fascinating.
I'm constantly looking at this show because even though my mom used to watch a lot of cartoons with me growing up, the oldest I can remember ever watching with her (and when I say "watching with her" I mean that we were both actual fans of it) was in fact Gargoyles. And then of course, there's the whole created by Greg Weisman thingy.
Hrm... Maybe I should just watch it and be done with it. Except pretty much the entire staff involved in the story (including Greg) was fired after the first episode of season three, thus leading to a final season of OOC-ness and aimlessness, and I don't know how I'm supposed to deal with something like this.
