so i just realised my dentist is slightly misogynistic. further explanation below the cut guys...
so my mom is usually the one coming with me for my braces appointments, and when she's there, he hardly ever says anything at all.
which wouldn't have bothered me if my dad hadn't been the one to come today. because i didn't notice it with my mom around since we had nothing to compare it with, but when my dad came today, he was a lot chattier and went into extra detail to explain things. now, you're probs thinking, maybe he's just more comfortable with guys? but LISTEN.
the moment he saw my dad today, he said: "oh, luckily dad is here today! this should be easier." and i was like HOLD UP. and this has happened before but he was a bit more subtle abt it but i didn't really notice.
ANYWAYS BOTTOM LINE. TAKE MY MOM'S ADVICE. GIRLS MY MOM SAYS IF YOU WANNA ASSERT YOUR PLACE IN THE HOUSEHOLD, IN SOCIETY, MAKE YOUR OWN MONEY. DON'T RELY ON A MAN. BC THAT JUST GIVES HIM MORE REASON TO WALK ALL OVER YOU. OKAY I'M DONE.
