i feel bad for the guys tbh. all they want to do is make music for people and they’re getting these fucking lunatics throwing themselves at them. can you imagine getting nudes/smut/countless dms from some random person who only knows you through a screen??? that’s INSANE. it’s like fans forget that they’re real people? also, can you imagine if they saw the things people say about them online for the sake of “humor”? for guys who don’t spend a lot of time online and definitely aren’t well versed in internet culture, it must be really shitty.

I legit can’t. As a person who struggles with their mental health at even the best of times, I cannot even fathom what it would be like to be on the receiving end of that. People complain that the boys never check or respond to DMs, but… would you? Would you check your DMs if you were being sent nudes and smut?

I also know that other folks have addressed this too, but I’m also really shit sick of seeing their ND behaviours being mocked. I have ADHD so I do the flappy hands and stimming and I dissociate, and it hurts my feelings a lot when I see them being mocked for those things, and I’m not even the target. I hope for their sake that they never see that stuff.

For people who have made it their mission with their music to spread peace, love, and unity, they sure do have to deal with an awful lot of bullshit.
