Idk if this is because of where I'm from but I'm shocked that people are surprised that the UN is useless when it's predecessor League of Nations was much the same.

I don’t have it in me to care about Dragon Age the way I used to.
I feel like they’re going to trope-ify popular characters, flanderize others, and Solas/Fen’Harel is going to lose all complexity he had in Inquisition.
To say nothing of Bioware’s troubles as a studio, the previous Dragon Age game was good - but a mess.
Inquisition was too long, too spread out, had too many ideas that needed to be fleshed out or trimmed. The script sorely needed an editor to chop about half of it and restructure the rest into a tightly focused story.
Some characters got a lot of love, others had the bulk of their characterization built in codex entries. No companion, in my opinion, had enough dialogue for how long the game was. I’ve played it multiple times and, while people may get mad at me for the comparison, BG3 has blown me away with how alive the companions feel.
I’m not asking for BG3 level gold, but I would like more than a few smatterings of dialogue every 30 minutes while I run around a pretty wasteland looking for the umpteenth collectible when, hey? Don’t I have allies to collect and an army to build?
I was upset at how middling the Inquisitor was. Like the devs wanted the freedom for the MC to go around and do stuff, but at the same time didn’t lean into the big scary religious organization that the inquisition should have been. A force for good or evil, under a banner your character may or may not have even wanted to fly.
I guess my fear is bloated padding missions and missed opportunities. Interesting threads that lead to a disappointing nowhere - like Morrigan’s son if he has the old god soul.
I’m tired of being teased, tired of good ideas that fall flat. Tired of wanting to invest my time into something that can’t decide what it even wants to be.
So. Hope people enjoy it, I’m going to wait and see. Can’t get excited for it as of yet, even if we had more than teasers of teasers.
The problem with secrets of dumbledore is mostly the fact that they don’t explain why they do what they do. They do this cool thing, but don’t explain to us how or what they did.
Like mostly I’d be okay with it, had they just explained it.
The second biggest problem is why did they introduce Nicolas flamel and Nagina just to not even mention them again.
okay wait i understand the rating on black monday now
Rewatching Samjrai Flamenco really brings two things to light: The good parts are GREAT (MMM fight and reconcillation, Masayoshi’s character development, Goto-san’s girlfriend).
But also, the bad parts are...awful (Flamenger’s. No words need. The animation isn’t A+ either).
Dear Smash,
No stage manager in the world is as calm as the TWO that have been seen in your show.
Sincerely,
Everyone who has ever worked on any kind of production.
PS. You are wasting the talents of Ann Harada and Montego Glover.
When LOTOR fic uses language similar to Tolkien but doesn't get bogged down like his work does = crying happy tears.
