Andaran atish'an everyone and welcome to this blog! A bit of information on this blog and it’s purpose; This is a fan Project being made by a fan for fellow fans who played Dragon Age:the Veilguard and weren’t to happy with what we got.

From the constant watering down of the world and lore we’ve all come to love about dragon age, Or be it the lack of player interaction/agency the RPG. To the poor writing of side characters, companions and storyline. To the very modern way people of this game talk and react to things around them. To our previous game choices from the last three games not mattering what’s so ever.

Seeing all these issues that could’ve easily been fixed and ironed out had BioWare and EA gave their workers,writer and development team the time and resources to make the game they truly wanted to make after the release of Dragon Age Inquisition’s trespasser DLC.

This fan project will be focusing on aspects of the story, Act 1-Act 3 of the game with MAJOR story changes along with side plots that could truely have an effect on the outcome of the game. Our companions will also be getting actual personalities past stereotypes and one key obsession the have. Their relationships and factions actually playing a role in how they interact with one another.

To do so this project will focus on the early 2018 theories we as a fandom had when the first teaser trailer released under the name of Dragon Age Dread Wolf; a name I will be using as Solas actually played a major key rule in the game. But these theories being held together with what we’ve been experiencing in the last three games; and with the help of the Dragon age Veilguard artbook that holds much of the original storylines of project Joplin hopefully I can rewrite this game to be what we fans of Dragon age wanted to see after waiting 10 years for.

Once again this is a Fan Project made by one person; and as I work a full time job and this being a passion project expect slow uploads. Have any questions ask me and I will try my best to answer them!

Mael Mercari, aka "The Rook", aka "The Dread Wolf".

Disgusted with the failed politics of Tevinter, Mael, the son of a prestigious Magister, becomes a ruthless, anonymous vigilante. He leads a successful underground rebellion and is known to the freed slaves as " The Dread Wolf". (This complicates things, as Solas is also active under that name.)

Mael is the living embodiment of the Bishop personality: headstrong, cocky, and direct. His entire approach to rebellion is explosive violence and brutal precision. As his codename suggests, he moves like the Rook on a chess board: straight lines, maximum destructive power, no subtlety.

Solas sees Mael as his younger self, the embodiment of the very arrogance and direct, destructive violence that caused the creation of the veil and the destruction of his people. Despite their radically different methods, both operate under the shared belief that collateral damage is a regrettable, but unavoidable sacrifice.
