A favorite trope of mine is when Character A fulfills a certain role in their society/community, but for one reason or another, cannot do so for a time

So another character (or characters) step in, inspired by how much Character A's work meant to them.

Bonus points if the other character(s) clearly struggle handling Character A's burden, but get their smile back the moment Character A is back

sorry im having kind of a hard night another ooc post this ones related to michael afton though. im so so so excited for the movie and even if its bad im so happy. i love michael afton and ive been so sad that hes been abandoned by steel wool games. they dumped my fucking guy. they told him to get his ass out of here and he did. and now hes back and i dont have to watch a playthrough of a game i know i wont like just to see the single easter egg that is VAGUELY miuchael themed. and also iit means i get to think about him all the time again and i love thinking about him and his fucked up family and his relationship with henry and his relationship with ennard. and i get to think about him singing shitty 80s songs in an empty security room and i get to think about him making friends with his coworkers when he was a kid and i get to think about him and jeremy. UGH.AHHH I LOVE HIM
