i joke a lot about trillademption, mostly cause i’ve enjoyed star wars long enough to have suffered (greatly) through reylo/bendemption and such, but in actuality while there’s a clear path for trilla to walk in a direction opposite the empire (paved by cere and ripped from her sight at darth vader’s hand), i doubt it would lead her in any direction even vaguely resembling your standard, almost trivialised “ redemption arc ” (force ghost han solo isn’t gonna be there for trilla to tell her to be good now, PepeHands). the disillusionment with the jedi order which the inquisitorious preyed upon to turn trilla wouldn’t wash away, only bolstered by the guilt that envelops her (being allowed to feel remorse once the inquisitor programming [COMING SOON] subsides), any comfort found in cere’s company as a semblance of a forgotten past would wash away in anger at her betrayal.
she would choose to actively negate any effort to bring her back to the light purely out of spite, because it would be just that, her choice to plant herself in this haze where she is of no use to anyone but herself, defiantly alive but without purpose or reason. finally allowed freedoms she never really had and not knowing what to do with it.
