Capitalists Don't Want You Knowing This ONE TRICK–
One thing you finally start to understand when you start studying communist theory is how fucking incoherent capitalist economic ideas actually are.
Like, my schools taught the normal American stuff. Neoliberalism. Capitalism. The way American economists WANT you to think money works. I thought I was stupid for not understanding it. No, I wasn't. It is an incoherent mess. The only people who "understand" it are fools and liars.
If you want to know how shit ACTUALLY works, Marxist theory is your friend. It's not meaningless bullshit guesswork, it's science. It looks at the real historical facts of the economy and extrapolates based on that. It is to economics what germ theory was to medicine.
It's not some confusing and unknowable blob of pretentious information that only drunk philosophy students can understand. It's easy and simple. ANYONE can understand it. I would bet my bottom dollar on it. Yes, even you, sat there thinking that you can't.
Go study some Marx. I dare you.

Honestly, the man's whole youtube channel is a goldmine. You don't even have to start with this if you don't want to. I didn't. I just started watching whatever on his videos page seemed interesting and then BAM I suddenly knew things. Guy's a godsend. Would honestly recommend watching over reading, especially since I never actually got through Capital. It's dry as paste. Notice how in the original post, I said "studying," not reading explicitly. Pretentious snobs say that you have to read, but I don't think that's fair. If you want to educate yourself, do it in the way that best helps you actually learn. For me, that's this guy and his videos. He's very bingeable.
