maybe its me who is too deep in the internet echo chamber but im going to speak anyway. Every discussion I see about aro and ace characters feels like everyone collectively has 1) made up this Aro or Ace Character That Hates Sex/Romance So Strongly and 2) Has seen that character in so much media that in response they have to “subvert” that trope by making aro and ace characters that Do Romance and that Do Fuck because “aro and ace characters can still have sex/have romance!!! theyre not all Sex Haters and Romance Haters.” and anytime someone (especially someone who is on the aro or ace spectrum) points out that this is weird they get dogged on for it because “asexuality/aromanticism is a spectrum!!!”

hate to break it to you guys but if every time an aro or ace character comes up in canon and your response to still put them in romantic/sexual situations with other characters because “its a spectrum” it really is weird as hell and makes me (<- aroace) not want to engage in conversation with you. lol.
