okay fucking OBVIOUSLY I hate them because they’re romanticizing and SEXUALIZING a rapist serial killer pedophile. What more do you want??? Is that not bad enough???

not only that but they victim blame and say weird things about the ghost boys and SPECIFICALLY Finney Blake. That is a 13 year old kidnapping victim. I don’t care if he’s not real. His story is based on real life events that took place and it’s incredibly insensitive to say whatever disgusting things grabber fans/simps say about him.

I’ve seen people (grabber simps/blakeshaw shippers) on here say that “Finney is so lucky” or that they “wish they were in his place” or that Finney’s “being greedy” or was “asking for it” in reference to the Grabber which is just fucking horrible and gross. That is a child. He literally cannot consent to anything and it’s OBVIOUS he DOESNT WANT TO.

and while I’m saying all of this I do understand people who just like him as a villain because he is one! he’s a very good villain character and I totally get that. I have no problem unless you romanticize, sexualize, or glamorize him or any of that gross stuff. I will be weirded out if you tell me he’s your favorite, though. That’s kind of gross imo.

Also people who simp over the grabber because of their own past trauma do kind of weird me out. I’m not going to like freak out on them but I do wish that they’d find healthier coping mechanisms and seek professional help or at the very LEAST just not post about it online/publicly because it just adds on to every previous mentioned issue and isn’t good for their health at all to latch onto those kinds of characters like that.

Also yeah sorry for getting off topic a little bit and leaning more towards why I hate blakeshaw shippers but honestly both of those kinda of tbp fans just go hand in hand a lot of the time so…

once again thinking of payneland and pet names so bear with me, if you will:

Charles calls Edwin literally anything he can think of. nicknames, for starters (Eds, Win, Eddie, E, so on), but also just the most random crap you've ever heard of. it probably started as more common pet names, but then it spiraled and now every time he makes up a new one Crystal stares at him like he's fucking insane.

I'm imaging the chain of pet names kind of like: love, babe, baby, sweetie, honey, my love, sugar, sunshine, boo, puddin', apple of my eye, romeo, toots, kitten, so on and so forth.

Edwin, on the other hand, barely uses pet names. Occasionally he'll use love or darling, but mostly it's just Charles.

however...

every now and then he accidentally lets slip an 'angel' or a 'sweetheart', and Charles melts every. fucking. time. Edwin will pretend it didn't happen later, but everyone just looks at him knowingly and says nothing.
