So I randomly decided that I’m going to try and read a shounen manga for once. I literally never read shounen, I’m the world’s biggest shoujo trash.
Anyways, I ended up choosing SnK, because it seems to be very popular and it’s not too long either. I checked out the first chapter, and I was instantly reminded why I never read shounen...
The art, guys... the art...
Samwell Tarly One of my faves from Game of Thrones. He's the cast-off son of a great Lord because he doesn't fit his culture's norms of masculinity. He's gentle, loves books, is astute, and never lost his capacity for empathy or compassion despite a lifetime of abuse. He arrives at Castle Black as something of a joke. He's craven where men must be fearless, he's soft where men must be hard, he's weak where they must be strong. But Jon stands by him, finds him a place as apprentice to the maester. With time Sam proves he is indeed brave when the moment calls for it. And strong. And capable of so much more than anyone except Jon gave him credit for. And he's an incredibly loyal friend. If you've got shit to face, you want a Sam by your side.

The joys of speaking a language that doesn’t use the Roman alphabet: You look up the lyrics to one of your favorites, and you see this. *sigh*
I know everyone (myself included) really don't want to work on the poster, but we gotta get something done by Thursday lab. Everyone remembers the part they were given on work on the poster, right? Right. Let's put some shit on the poster and get this over with.
