Peyton’s face is cracked because he wanted a face again (but since it’s plastic it’s kinda just there for show) idk if it still counts as Butcherbraids because it’s Ms Gracie and not lily but the intention was Butcherbraids. No other character is really changed here and as for the storyline I guess Ms Gracie avoids a lot more injuries because she actually knows these toys. Peyton also isn’t brainwashed because he’s an accident and the toys don’t kill him because they think being a toy is enough damage (like with Harley and Preston I guess? But not intentional?) honestly my main reason for Gracie’s change in character was because I thought the bad toy grinder was wasting experiments (kids) and they couldn’t get away with so many disappearances and I also wanted to see if I could make her “good” or at least morally complex. Can you tell I really like this au (copy/paste exactly from my TikTok account btw lol)
