What’s their hair like?they dress like they scavenged everything out of a burning garbage heap: lots of tears & patches & suspicious burns, but it works on them. their style is very worn & practical; they tend to prefer snug leggings & large, loose shirts/tunics. they do take exceptionally good care of a few things which are wardrobe staples: their arm guard & gloves which belonged to their mother, as well as the amulet from ashalle, two raven feathers blessed by dirthamen, the warden’s oath amulet, & zevran’s earring.they typically wear some variety of braided up-do, both because they like how it looks & to keep their hair out of their face when they’re shooting. they almost never wear their hair down, but it’s pretty long.

@butchstoothpick this healthcare system is pure fucking horseshit, like I haven't been able to go to a doctor in three years because I can't afford it at all, not even a checkup, so I have to wait for things to become Really Bad so I can go to the emergency room lmao And no I watch the So Cal Chiropractic, that one chiropractor in Australia I think, and a bunch of cracking compilations. I would love to find new ones on YouTube though

 YES. i figure the reason that hes in his 50s in dh2 and still able to like, jump around and stuff w/ no trouble is bc of his void powers, but theres definitely only so much even that can do and hes gotta like, start slowing down soon. he insists that the stick hes walking around w/ and leaning on all the time is a quarterstaff but emily and wyman know better, that man is old

Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?

River has one sibling, a brother, Fergus. She is, after all, a Cousland. Fergus, being several years older than her is semi-parental towards her when she’s young, trying to get her to be a proper lady, but when it becomes clear around fifteen or sixteen, they adopt a more friendly, more sibling-ly relationship.

What is their favourite food?

I have to say whatever the Fereldan version of fish and brewis is called. It was probably something her mother never wanted to see again, after she stopped being the Seawolf, but something River talked her into making and developed a massive affinity for. 

Do they like to take photos? What do they like to take photos of? Selfies? What do they do with their photos?

In a modern AU she’d be the type to snapchat pictures of her girlfriend studying with like, really lovey-dovey, ‘I love my GF’ captions. 

Do they have a good memory? Short term or long term? Are they good with names? Or faces?

River has a great memory for faces, but not always for names. She doesn’t have the best memory for facts either. Mostly, if she remembers your name, and when you met her, it means either you’re important (ex: Fiona. Maric.) or she likes you.
