There was this FEELING in his stomach that wouldn’t go away any time he was around Fleurette. Any time he even thought about her or said her name in his mind, he got the same feeling too. It had been so LONG since he had felt this feeling before he almost forgot what it was called----------  BUTTERFLIES. Ah yes, butterflies. He was thankful that he was so tall, because he was sure that if he was even the slightest bit SMALLER they would have carried him away.

He KISSED his little Fleurette on the head as he guided her to the car. He wasn’t telling her where they were going. It’s a surprise! He kept telling her, but it didn’t seem to be a GOOD ENOUGH  answer for her. Alan wondered if it was TOO SOON in their relationship to be throwing surprises like this at her? But then again, he thought this was a NECESSARY surprise. If they were going to spend any amount of time together like he hoped she would have to find a way to LIKE dogs. As much as he cared about her, his dogs were very important to him.

They CHATTED as they drove to where Alan was taking Fleur, but he did not SPOIL the surprise. Once they arrived, he unbuckled her--------------ever chivalrous, & planted another kiss to her cheek. ‘ Promise me you won’t be mad,’  he said, biting his lip, but not yet getting out of the car. ‘ But I’ve brought you to the shelter I visit. ‘ before she can say anything, he interjects again. ‘ You don’t even have to visit the dogs there, okay? I PROMISE they’re kept in the kennels in the back. There’s so many other lovely animals there. ‘

Alan knew that it was easier to ask for foreignness than PERMISSION, but he still couldn’t help but feel A LITTLE guilty.

1.12.2017 III •stay on target• This week was super duper stressful but today made up for it with a lot of amazing things. Lastly- finally saw Moana.
