The underlay comes from one of the super colorful Webb telescope photos (with the colors enhanced/intensified a bit because I wanted a rainbow effect because QUEER).

Legitimately don't know how to even start to express what this manga is and does. Is it serious? yes. Is it also just a lighthearted comedy? yes. Does it also vibe like Squid Games where the rich exploit the desperate to build their ideal world at their expense? yes. Holding my head in hands

#also its about people who just want to be loved #it will make you feel bad about everyone regardless of how horrible they are #because they are all victims #some of them chose the life of killing more than others #and some have more hope that they can escape this #but all of them know itll haunt them #and sometimes there really are no happy endings #i didnt even mention the major character death #and the way this made me realise how privileged i am to be born into a situation where i am not trapped to compromise life and death #reminded of that book poor by katrina o'sullivan and the play on it that expressed how she knew she was lucky to have escaped...#...a fate that was predetermined for her...how poverty almost traps you into this life where you die poor #and THEN the manga will give you whiplash by saying haha the mc just wants a hot boyfriend and is a sucker for a good face #i want to throw hands with this manga <-it does such a good job in punching you in the gut out of nowhere #or shooting you with a gun and then acting like nothing happened #which WORKS but also makes you froth in the mouth #anyway its not even finished and we are on the final arc #wish me luck guys #fandom spamdom #youchien wars #yw #kindergarten wars #note's notes #if i had to rate this manga itd be between witch hat atelier and bungo stray dogs in terms of thematic impact #wha that really drills it into you slowly and painfully like that tree - *gets pushed offstage*#and then bsd which has so many good concepts but does not always deliver on them but you watch anyway because of the insane plot #and the references to said thematic elements #a solid i do not regret reading this because it has thrown me into the void of overanalysing like the notecase that i am #but whether i would recommend it would depend on your tolerance for choosing to have a lot of the characters' gags be obsession with love #and critical analysis ability #so to all my mutuals you should read it probably
