When someone says something completely insensitive
I'm just like
I just correct myself a lot because my brain jumps around too quickly for my mouth, it's not because I mean to be spazzy and overwhelming I just get frustrated because I can't put what's in my head in to the right words please don't hate me.
So, last night I legitimately thought my dog was dying because of something I did. First thought was that she got Raid (insect killer) on her paws and chewed them, ingesting the poison. Second I thought maybe she got into the garbage where I had thrown out some cleaning rags. My dog has a tendency to eat things that she can reach. I called my mom, bawling, because she's on the other side of the country and I'm all "IDON'TKNOWWHATTODOANDMYDOGISDYING". Anyways, my dog was flinching every time we came near her face, kept having these weird spasms while trying to walk (like she was drunk), and then would just zone out for 20 minutes as if she forgot how to use her body. So here I am, thinking this is the end (my dog is 13 years old), and I have to say my goodbyes. I've called my boyfriend's mom at this point and she's driven across town to comfort me, my room mates are standing on the porch because they have grown attached to my dog, and I'm just sobbing while Kyle holds her like a little baby in his arms. Then, after two hours of this, Kyle looks at me and says, "I left my special cookie in my backpack and my backpack was open on the floor. Do you think she...?"
Long story short, she did and my dog was just tripping balls because she had eaten a whole cookie that was meant to keep a grown man down.
