butsomethingnexttonormal answered:Eventually, give it 2-4 weeks. I had mine and it took me about 2 weeks. Try eating soup and other foods where you don’t really have to chew much. Good luck and believe me – it’s worth it

tvpains answered: Yes! It took me about four days to get used to them and then after a week, I stopped noticing them! In fact, you get so used to them, it feels weird when they take them off. Don’t worry! And take some pain-killers, it will help
thanks friend! i keep subconsciously running my tongue over the wire even tho i already have a sore on my tongue from one of the separators....this is exhausting
but i guess it’s better than having to deal with this when i’m an adult so
