Chapter 8 part 2 has been posted on Ao3. For some reason it has been listed before part 1. I have no idea how that happened.
Chapter 8 Part 1 of '1943' has been posted on Ao3.
I've written and rewritten Chapter 8 so many times and it's not working. I don't know if it's the subject matter, the Holocaust, which is stopping me or the idea that people do not want that subject as fanfic.
As a professional Historian I research, write and lecture on military history all day long so I cannot understand why I'm finding this so hard.
So, I'm rethinking chapter 8. For me, this was the most important chapter as it showed how Forster changed in S3 and became a broken man. This chapter was the whole point of writing the fanfic.
Please bear with me whilst I rethink and rewrite chapter 8.
Chapter 7 of '1943' has been posted to Ao3.
Chapter 6 of '1943' is on Ao3, chapter 7 is nearly completed but chapter 8 is taking a little longer. I want chapter 8 to be sensitive and respectful to the subject matter. It would devastate me if I offended anyone.
