Butterfly Effect Trigger
Butterfly Effect Trigger is what happens when choosing choice of actions create another path that is partly, if not entirely, different from other paths. Such as some major events in the game that lead to another conclusion of sorts. Or to some rescues/deaths of specific characters.

When mentioning BET, it stands for Butterfly Effect Triggered. Or you could just call it Butterfly Effect if you’d like. (The acronym is there to make my coding life easier, and I get used to it in datalog. Also I like the double meanings.)
It could also mean your action has already caused a certain path inaccessible. Don't forget that.
And don't worry, you will have an option to turn BET off if you prefer!
